Submission requirements

To guarantee a high-quality experience, Framer has specific submission requirements. Make sure to review them carefully before submitting your template.

How to submit

Submitting your template is easy! For detailed instructions on using the Creator Dashboard, visit this guide.

Review process

The current estimated review period is up to 21 days. Our team strives to respond to and review your template promptly. However, since these timelines are estimates, some fluctuations may occur.

Initial review (up to 7 days)

The first step in the review process is to verify whether your template meets all the submission requirements. During this initial stage, your template will either be:

  • Advanced to a more in-depth review

  • Rejected with a brief explanation provided.

Official review (up to 14 days)

If your template passes the initial screening, it will proceed to a more in-depth review, during which we will evaluate its design.

Once we complete our review, we will send you one of the following verdicts:

  • If your template meets our design standards and is accepted, you will be notified via email and your template will be published in a short period of time.

  • If your template does not meet our expectations, but we conclude that it can be improved, we will provide detailed feedback and guidance on how to get there.

After you submit

Once your template is submitted, keep these things in mind:

  • Review timeline: Reviews can take up to 21 days, depending on the complexity of your template.

  • Status updates: The current status of your template will be reflected in your Creator Dashboard:

    • Draft: The template submission is in progress, has not yet been submitted, or has been submitted but is being prepared for resubmission.

    • Pending: The template submission is in the initial review stage of the review process.

    • In Review: The template submission is in the official review stage of the review process.

    • Published: The template is officially live on the Marketplace.

    • Archived: The template has been archived for long term safekeeping.

  • Review decisions: Our goal is always to be fair and consistent with our guidelines and submission requirements. Notably, we may make some mistakes along the way, but our intention is to work with you directly as we strive for a positive outcome.

  • Fixes: If your need to fix something after your submission:

    • For minor changes, make a note, fix it, and we will continue our review.

    • For major issues, email us immediately at templates@framer.com.

  • Policy violations: Cheating the system (e.g., manipulating rankings, copying others' work) will result in template removal and possible account suspension.
