How to update your components in Framer?

Updating a component

It is extremely easy to update you components within Framer. All you need to do is head over to your assets panel, and press on the purple ‘Update’ button.

This typically takes a few seconds and upon completion you will see a toast notification that says ‘Component has been updated’. And that’s it! Your component has successfully been updated.

The importance of updating components

We highly recommend keeping your components up-to-date. We frequently release updates that include bug fixes or new features. For instance, Phosphor icons recently launched version 2.1, and without updating the component, you won't be able to access the new icons.
