Getting started with Dub

Dub powers referral tracking and payouts for Creators, providing detailed metrics and commission management. As a verified creator, you can manage all your links in the Links tab, where tracking, referrals, and commissions are seamlessly integrated.

Why do you need Dub?

As a verified Framer creator, Dub helps you to:

  • Track sign-ups and conversions from your links.

  • Monitor your commissions and payouts seamlessly.

  • Access advanced analytics for deeper performance insights.

While most activities—like creating links and tracking commissions—are managed in the Creator Dashboard, Dub offers more detailed data on link performance.

How will I get paid?

Payouts are processed via Stripe on a monthly basis and are based on commissions earned two months earlier. You’ll need a minimum of $200 in unpaid rewards for a payout to be triggered.

Make sure your Stripe details are filled out in Dub to avoid payout delays. You can manage or update them anytime.

Why do I see my conversions as “pending”?

When someone signs up and upgrades through your link, their conversion is marked as pending for 30 days to allow time for refunds. After that, your commission is confirmed.

If a referred user cancels within their first year, your commission for that user may be adjusted accordingly.

Taxes and unsupported countries

Framer does not withhold taxes—you’re responsible for reporting earnings according to your local tax laws. Please consult a tax professional if unsure.

If Stripe doesn’t support payouts in your country, Dub is working on expanding support. In the meantime, consider:

  • Setting up a US-based LLC to create a Stripe account

  • Using Wise (formerly TransferWise) to open a Stripe-compatible bank account

These options may require additional steps or fees, so research carefully or consult a financial advisor.

Transition from FirstPromoter

Your lead conversions from FirstPromoter have been migrated to the Creator Dashboard, which is now your main hub for tracking analytics and payouts. While some commissions may still appear in FirstPromoter for now, new activity is being moved to Dub.

Any pending payouts from FirstPromoter—including those under the $200 threshold—will still be processed, and access will remain available for historical reference until the transition is complete.
